Al Stine, TWSA-ASMA

Al Stine is a multi-talented artist who works from many easels. He began his career after graduating from the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and studies at the School of The Art Institute of Chicago. He worked as a free lance illustrator for many years,eventually earning a reputation as a foremost watercolorist and oil painter.

Al is a past president of the Artist Guild of Chicago, a signature member of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America, an Artist Member of the American Society of Marine Artists and an Artist With Excellence in the South Carolina Watercolor Society.

Today, Al travels the world mentoring students and judging shows. He has taught classes in the United States, Canada, Spain and Mexico. That success, and his numerous how to videos and published works have made Al a sought after artist. His paintings hang in corporate and private collections all over the world. Al Stine now paints from his gallery in Anderson, South Carolina where his works can be viewed and purchased year round.
